01 · Our story
From home builder to community developer.
Tabeling Development Company grew by taking responsibility for more of the work.
What began with quality homebuilding expanded into subdivision development, multifamily communities, commercial places and mixed-use districts. Today, TDC brings real estate development, construction management, design, leasing and long-term ownership together in one practical team.
Our roots are in Mahomet, and our work reaches across Central Illinois. We know these markets, we know the people shaping them, and we believe good projects should strengthen both.

Shawn Tabeling
Shawn has decades of experience as a builder, investor, and developer of subdivisions throughout Illinois. His leadership, strategic planning, and community involvement have been instrumental in the growth and success of the company.
Austin Tabeling
General Manager, Tabeling Development Company; Designated Managing Broker, Tabeling Homes
Austin attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a bachelor's degree in Consumer Economics and Finance. He serves as Chairman of the Board of the Homebuilders Association of East Central Illinois.
Kirsten Ahmari
Architect
Kirsten is a dedicated architect overseeing TDC's architectural projects.
Libby McGuire
Business Operations Administrator
Libby is an Illinois State University graduate with years of experience in client relations and operations management.
Katie Tabeling
Leasing Manager
Katie attended Eastern Illinois University, earning a degree in Studio Art. She leads marketing, sales campaigns, and client relationships.
